Bookkeeper

Our client the BIG FOUR consulting firm is hiring for the Bookkeeper position in the Montreal Area. This is a hybrid contract position. The hourly compensation rate is negotiable. Must be Bilingual. The Bookkeeper may be responsible for but is not limited to:

• Full cycle bookkeeping
• Processing financial transactions for accounts payable receivable
• Preparation of bank reconciliations
• Journal entries
• Preparation of monthend files
• Investigating and resolving irregularities or inquire.
• Processing Payroll
• 3 years of full cycle bookkeeping experience
• Business Administration Accounting diploma from recognized community college or university degree with concentration in accounting
• Experience with accounting software systems Payroll experience or training an asset
• MS Office Suite proficiency (e.g. MS Excel Outlook Word)
• Keen attention to detail
• Data entry with high level of accuracy
• Ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities
• Strong oral and written communication skills
