Bookkeeper

We are currently recruiting a Bookkeeper on behalf of our client to manage financial records and maintain accurate accounting systems playing a crucial role in their financial operations. If you have strong financial acumen and attention to detail wed like to introduce you to this important role in our clients organization.

Requirements

• Education: College CEGEP or other nonuniversity certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Tasks

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
• Keep financial records and establish maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
• Post journal entries
• Prepare other statistical financial and accounting reports
• Prepare tax returns
• Prepare the trial balance of books
• Reconcile accounts
• Computer and technology knowledge
• MS Excel
• MS Word
