AU Estimator

This is a remote position.

• Utilise Groundplan to extract detailed information from architectural and Engineer drawings for the purpose of estimating project costs.
  
• Analyse project requirements specifications and scope to develop accurate and competitive cost estimates and project methodologies.
  
• Collaborate with architects engineers and project managers to understand design intent material specifications and construction methods.
  
• Conduct thorough research to identify and evaluate the cost of materials labor equipment and subcontractor services.
  
• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost breakdowns for all aspects of construction including but not limited to civil structural mechanical electrical and finishes.
  
• Develop and maintain databases of pricing information historical cost data and industry trends to support accurate estimating.
  
• Review and analyse subcontractor and vendor proposals to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Architecture Civil or Mechanical Engineering Construction Management or related field.
  
• At least 3 years of experience as an Estimator in the architectural or construction industry.
  
• Proficiency in Estimating software particularly Groundplan
  
• Strong understanding of construction methods materials and building codes.
  
• Great communication skills both verbal and written.
