Project Manager

Our client is currently seeking a Project Manager who plans directs coordinates or budgets activities related to company services. The Project Manager participates in the conceptual development of a project and oversees its organization scheduling and implementation. This associate accomplishes project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities.The Project Manager will work directly with internal operations delivery engineering business development and management teams and the customer to ensure the project objectives are aligned and with the contracted scope of work. The Project Manager may be required to represent the company in project meetings. This associate reports to the Senior Project Manager Project Portfolio Manager or Director of Project Management.The ideal candidate will live within the Northeast.Responsibilities:Establish project objectives policies procedures and performance standards within boundaries of company policy and contracted work scope specifications.Track manage and resolve project issues as they arise throughout the project life cycle.Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff workers and clients.Formulate reports by extracting required data from various sources concerning such areas as work progress costs and scheduling for internal and external distribution.Implement and adhere to the project management process and methodology.Work with contract administrators to manage financial aspects of contracts to protect the companys interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with the customer.Represent company in customer facing project meetings and attend strategy meetings.Track and reconcile revenue cost of goods accruals and customer invoices using principles of cost accounting.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in business or technical degree preferred (computer science mathematics statistics business or other mathematical field) plus a minimum of three (3) years related experience.
