Job Title: Systems Administrator
Location: Hartford CT
Duration: Long Term Contract
- Installing configuring and maintaining server hardware and operating systems
- Administration and management of VMWare infrastructure like vSphere vCenter ESXi and virtual machines.
- Managing user accounts permissions and access controls.
- Monitoring system performance troubleshooting issues and ensuring high availability.
- Implementing security measures including backups and data protection.
- Managing software updates patches and system upgrades.
- Automating administrative tasks and creating scripts for system management.
- Craft and implement network configurations and test plans
- Gathering and presenting System Performance Metrics
- Perform platform software upgrades and failover testing
- Administration of routers switches and other network equipment
- Perform audits as needed
- Work with IT teams in preparing platform enhancements and configurations
- Identify areas of the infrastructure for optimization
- Develop detailed architectural diagrams and procedure documents
