Tasks

• Understand business problems and apply your expertise within predictive modelling and machine learning to design implement monitor and iteratively improve on our suite of predictive products.
• Have a continuousfocus on providing business value while ensuring technical sustainability (includingmaintainability reliability performance availabilityand interpretability).
• Collaborate with other data and decision scientists as well as data engineering and software experts in the team to define the requirements for the data products supporting our prescriptive models and to productionize your models into reliable and scalable software running on the cloud.
• Work with relevant stakeholders to find the right solutions to the right problemsat the right time.
• Promote and drive adoption of cuttingedge data sciencepractices within theteam.

Requirements

• Background in mathematical modeling statistics operations research or in a similar technical field at MSc or PhD level.
• Collaborative by nature care about others and area general force for good.
• Motivated by working on hard problems and ensuring the models you work on deliver accurate predictions and provide maximum value for our consumers.
• Solve problems endtoend considering what kind of analytics is required to solve it and if the business process is even ready for a model or if it needs revision.
• Care about a great engineering culture have an agile mindset andalearning mentality.
• Experience with Python/Pandas optionally Pyspark (or similar technologies) and comfortable dealing with complex systems.
