Tasks

• Database Management: Design implement and manage robust database systems to ensure data accuracy security and availability in cloudbased standalone installations and managed databases.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor database performance ensuring seamless and efficient operations in a cloud environment.
• Backup and Recovery: Develop and execute reliable backup and recovery strategies to safeguard critical data in cloudhosted and standalone databases.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve database issues promptly collaborating with crossfunctional teams to ensure smooth operations in cloud and standalone environments.
• Database Upgrades: Plan and execute database upgrades and migrations while minimizing downtime and ensuring data integrity in cloud and standalone installations.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations processes and procedures for cloudbased and standalone setups.
• Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to assess scope develop business cases for data change and deliver benefits by leveraging industry insights

Requirements

• Degree in IT
• Experience as a DBA minimum 5 years of experience
• Experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL
• Experience in database upgrades
• Experience with troubleshooting
• Performance optimization
