Marketing - Intern

We are looking for a Marketing Intern to join a wellreputed IT company in Colombo.

Requirements:

• A bachelors degree or currently enrolled in a bachelors degree program in marketing business administration communications or a related field.
• Knowledge of Microsoft services and solutions: Familiarity with Microsoft services and solutions such as Microsoft Azure Microsoft 365 Dynamics 365 and Power Platform would be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics Hootsuite or Mailchimp would be an added advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential and proficiency in other languages such as Sinhala or Tamil could be an added advantage.
• The ability to pay close attention to detail follow instructions and work accurately and efficiently.
• The ability to conduct market research analyze data and use insights to inform marketing strategies.
• The ability to generate new ideas think outside the box and develop innovative marketing campaigns.
• The ability to work collaboratively with other marketing team members as well as with other departments such as sales and customer service.
• The ability to manage time effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• A positive attitude enthusiasm and a willingness to learn

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in developing and implementing marketing plans and strategies to promote the companys Microsoft services and solutions.
• Conducting market research analyzing data to identify customer needs preferences and behaviors and using the insights to inform marketing campaigns.
• Assisting in the creation of marketing content including social media posts blog articles email newsletters and website copy.
• Supporting the organization and coordination of marketing events such as webinars trade shows and product launches.
• Collaborating with the sales team to develop sales materials and presentations that align with marketing campaigns.
• Assisting with the tracking and reporting of marketing metrics including website traffic social media engagement and lead generation.
• Staying uptodate with industry trends and competitor activity to inform marketing strategies and identify opportunities for growth.
• Providing general administrative support to the marketing team such as scheduling meetings maintaining databases and ordering marketing materials.
