Our client is Germanys top price comparison platform. Currently it has 40 million views per month and is in the TOP 10 websites in the Shopping category in Germany. Headquartered in Munich and has offices in all major German cities. The company was founded 20 years ago and currently employs 2k people. They keep the atmosphere of a small cosy company having the resources of a big company. It means that decisions are made fast and most of them happen within a team.
The product: Its an online platfort that offers users the ability to compare and apply for credit cards from various banks and financial institutions. It enables customers to explore different card features such as rewards programs interest rates and fees to find the most suitable option for their needs. With a userfriendly interface the platform aims to simplify the credit card selection process empowering consumers to make informed decisions about their financial management.
Location: Munich Germany
Type of contract: Permanent onsite
Your Responsibilities
- Design implement and continue developing innovative services for our credit card comparison platform
- Full ownership of the systems you will develop
- Work with product owners in an agile work environment
- Participation in the design of our RESTbased architecture
- Resolve challenges in existing systems by moving away from a monolithic to a distributed eventbased architecture
- Integration with various thirdparty service providers (banks identification and communication providers)
Requirements
- Knowledge of Java OOP principles and design patterns
- First experience in building Java Microservice applications preferably with SpringBoot as well as deploying processes with GIT Maven Jenkins and Docker
- You like to challenge proposed solutions and love to learn from code reviews
- You are enthusiastic about new things have a handson mentality and don t think that your job stops in the moment you commit your code
- You have good spoken and written knowledge of English
