Construction Cost Estimator

We are seeking a detailoriented Construction Cost Estimator for a project site in Washington D.C. This role is crucial to the planning and execution of our construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Acquire a thorough understanding of project requirements.
  
• Develop valid cost estimates using appropriate metrics.
  
• Visit sites warehouses and other venues to gather essential information.
  
• Review documents or consult experts to collect all necessary data.
  
• Analyze data and produce cost forecasts.
  
• Perform risk analysis.
  
• Prepare detailed reports or bids for submission to appropriate parties.
  
• Foster relationships with key vendors (subcontractors architects etc.).
  

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of college education.
  
• Associate s Degree in Engineering Construction Technology or Business.
  
• Experience in construction project scheduling and cost estimating.
  
• Experience working with cost estimating software (e.g. RS Means Cost Plus etc.).
  
• Access to Adobe Reader and MS Suite.
