Job Description

Bank of Jordan, a leading financial institution in the Middle East, is seeking a talented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our team in Bahrain. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting financial analysis, preparing financial reports, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis of company and industry data, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Prepare financial forecasts, budget reports, and financial models to support planning and strategic decision-making
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate financial performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Assist in the preparation of investment proposals, business cases, and presentations for senior management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Stay updated on market trends, economic factors, and regulatory changes that may impact financial analysis and reporting
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis, as requested by management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role
  • Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, financial modeling, and forecasting
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of banking industry regulations and trends is a plus
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
  • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus
