Junior Collectibles Analyst dfm

As a (Junior) Collectibles Analyst at Timeless you will be responsible for growing our outoftheordinary portfolio. Depending on your personal interest you will mainly focus on our different asset categories such as cars watches whisky wine art (physical and digital) or sneakers.

Instead of researching financial products such as stocks or bonds you will support our Collectibles team in finding the most rare and valuable collectibles in the market. From iconic watches to pop art sculptures you should have a passion for collectibles as alternative investments and understand the value development of the different categories in the last years to be able to support us in making the best decisions of which assets to tokenize on our platform.

Tasks

• You will research analyse and acquire rare collectibles within the abovementioned categories assessing which are a fit for our asset portfolio.
• You will partner with other Collectibles Analysts and use your experience and knowledge to further develop our internal systems for asset research sourcing and value evaluation in order to make smart predictions on the market the assets price development potential and the associated risks.
• You bring in expert knowledge about the collectibles market and/or specific asset categories in order to conduct asset and brand evaluations and support us assessing the collectibles market and reliable sources of purchase as well as exit channels..
• Together with the Collectibles team you align with different stakeholders Marketing Finance Product and Clevel to acquire and promote assets and contribute to our drops by providing crucial educational content to our users (research & market analysis price developments market value updates etc.)

Requirements

• You completed your Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration or Economics or similar subjects ideally with an analytical or finance background.
• You have at least 12 years of relevant experience from junior positions in the fields of consultancy (investment) banking and/or asset management.
• You have a general interest in the collectibles market. Ideally you have experience in a position in a FinTech in a consultancy or a company for luxury goods.
• You have basic knowledge of financial modelling and economic market drivers.
• You have an analytical mindset a structured work style and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• You have excellent presentation skills high assertiveness and the ability to work across different functions and stakeholders.
• You are able to make decisions objectively and to understand for which collectibles our users are burning for even if those are different than your personal favourites.
• You are proactive in voicing your ideas and take initiative for projects from ideation through to completion setting milestones and priorities according to the circumstances.
• Ideally you already have an own network of potential sellers and buyers within a specific asset category.
• You are a doer that wants to have an impact and leave your mark in the Collectibles and FinTech market!
