About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Cloud Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud data technologies particularly within the AWS ecosystem and possess the skills necessary to design implement and maintain robust data solutions. The Cloud Data Engineer will play a pivotal role in shaping our data architecture ensuring data integrity and enabling seamless access to data for analytical and business intelligence purposes.
Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines within the AWS cloud environment.
- Design and implement data models that support specific business needs and analytical requirements.
- Develop and maintain a clear and standardized data schema to ensure data consistency and ease of access.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Build and manage data lakes ensuring the availability consistency and security of data for various data consumers.
- Implement data quality and data governance frameworks to ensure data accuracy reliability and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Optimize data storage retrieval and processing mechanisms for improved performance and costeffectiveness.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to support their data needs and enable advanced analytics and reporting.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and other issues.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to cloud data engineering and recommend their incorporation as appropriate.
Requirements
- Cloud Data Expertise: Proficiency in cloudbased data technologies particularly within the AWS ecosystem. Experience with services such as Amazon S3 Amazon Redshift AWS Glue AWS EMR and AWS Lambda.
- Data Modeling Expertise: Proficiency in data modeling methodologies including conceptual logical and physical modeling.
- AWS Data Experience: Demonstrated handson experience working with various AWS data services and tools for data storage processing and integration.
- Data Lake Management: Experience in designing implementing and managing data lakes including data ingestion transformation and storage strategies.
- BI and Analytics Tools: Understanding of business intelligence and analytics concepts. Familiarity with tools such as Tableau Power BI or similar platforms.
- ProblemSolving Skills: Ability to identify issues troubleshoot datarelated problems and propose effective solutions.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Experience: 35 years of relevant experience in cloud data engineering roles with a proven track record of delivering data solutions in complex environments.
Education:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or a related field. Relevant certifications in AWS or cloud technologies are a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication is a minimum requirement At least 5 years of hands on experience in most of these ML tools/techniques: Build ML models in SageMaker Build ML models in frameworks like Tensorflow & PyTorch and deploy in SageMaker Train and deploy AWS pre-trained AI Services and Foundational Models Build and optimize ML models Integrate ML models into real-time applications and batch workflows Infrastructure design and optimization Monitor, evaluate and continuously improve model performance, as well as automate these tasks using one or more tools for MLOps Data integration, cleansing, transformation, and visualization using Python packages, SQL etc. AWS services such as Glue, EMR, Athena, DynamoDB, StepFunctions, EKS etc Experience with an IaC tool such as CloudFormation, CDK or Terraform
