Crisis Registered Nurse Day Shift

Pay: $84546 for Associates Degree in Nursing $86596 for Bachelors Degree PLUS $3k sign on bonus.

Hours: Sunday Wednesday 8am4pm. 40 Hours/Week

Overview: One of our exclusive partners is hiring Registered Nurses to join their ReEntry House Crisis Stabilization program located in Minneapolis. The Crisis Stabilization Program provides services to adults experiencing a mental health crisis or emergency. This includes serving persons with cooccurring mental illness and substance use disorders. This program typically supports 16 people at any given time. These services are timelimited and generally range between 3 and 10 days

JOB SUMMARY

• Complete initial Nursing Assessment on all residents.
• Keep appropriate records and do necessary charting as required.
• Write and update medical/medication policies as needed.
• Supervise all aspects of medication administration.
• Train staff (unlicensed medication personnel) on medication procedures and provide training on the facility’s nursing needs (i.e. blood pressure pulse etc.)
• Provide in services as needed.
• Supervise residents on selfmedication.
• Work with therapists and all other staff in supervising residents’ transition in medication level changes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota.
• Associates Degree in Nursing
• Preferred: bachelor's degree and experience in inpatient outpatient or community psychiatric setting.
