Job Role and Description:

Clinic hours: Monday, Wednesday, Tuesday and Friday 9:00am-5:00pm; Thursday 10am 8pm
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Daily Duties
Follows the Clinic privacy and confidentiality act with extremeSchedules patient appointments and follow-ups asRespectfully answers phones and returns messages; calls patients when appointments need to be cancelled and/or re-scheduled; triages and prioritizes the relay of messages promptlyAdheres to appointments in a timelyPleasantly greets and welcomes patients upon arrival and guides them through the list of products andProvides aesthetic dermatology consultations, including medical and aestheticTakes patients demographics, health card number, pharmacy information, and photographs (with consent) and inputs into Electronic Medical Record (EMR).Reviews patient s medical history and skin conditions at every visit to determine suitability ofAdvises patients on proposed treatments, ensuring treatment rooms, equipment and products are well-maintained andFollows clinic policies and standard operating procedures for all services performePerforms medical aesthetic treatments offered at the clinic, under the direction of the Lead Physician and MedicalEducates patients on skin care and suitable home treatment regimens, including after-careMaintains product knowledge to promote and sell services andAssists with education and training of new staff as requireShares new ideas for process improvement at team
Administrative
Reviews patient bookingsMaintains treatment rooms, following up to date Health and SafetyMonitors supplies and inventory and submits purchase orders as requireStocks, cleans and prepares treatmentInspects equipment and maintains safety measures, including serviceOther administrative duties as require
Managerial
Reviews cases with Lead Physician and determines appropriate treatment regimens based on medical history and skinProvide mentorship, education and training of new staff and residents/medical students as requireAdditional Clinic responsibilities, sterilization and cleaning as
Clinical Support
Works with other staff members to facilitate effective flow ofAssists to stock exam rooms and workstations as required with medical supplies to optimize efficiency and flow for allEnrolls in continuing educational programs and staff
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
Certified Medical Aesthetician or Diploma, require
High School Diploma or equivalent, require
3 to 5 years experience practicing as a licensed Aesthetician in a Clinic and/or aesthetics office or equivalent, require
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills to include problem solving, flexibility, conflict resolution, organizational and communication skills require
Proficiency in use of computers, electronic medical records and medical practice equipment require
Professional attire required (scrubs and closed toe shoes are required).
Demonstrates ability to maintain confidentially for all information pertaining to the work environment require
Current police check (within last 6 Months), required at time of hir
Must be adept in the use of Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Working Conditions
Required to work in a very busy fast paced environment
Required to work with patients who may have significant emotional and physical
Normal working hours as per the Clinic s schedule (see above).
