Required:
4+ years' system/server/endpoint setup and configuration experience.
4+ years' infrastructure/network environments experience with Cisco Routers.
1+ years' experience with IT phone support desk experience.
Identifies opportunities and recommends solutions for improving the overall system/network health by assessing overall effectiveness and efficiency.
Demonstrated experience in the following system/networking concepts:
o Active Directory Services
o Operating Systems
o Internet Protocols
o Domain Controller
o Exchange Server
o Group Policy
Experience working with firewall configuration and troubleshooting.
Experience with different network types (i.e. LAN, WAN)
Experience configuring and maintaining phone systems, routers, switches, and hubs for network systems.
Preferred:
Experience with Windows Server, Windows 10, printers and other peripherals
Experience with Dell Encryption and Carbon Back
Experience with Red Cloak Administration
Experience working in state government.
Experience with Cloud Services
Experience with Office 365 AD
The System Administrator key deliverables include, but are not limited to the following:
Builds and maintains web, virtual, and client server environments for the enterprise.
Provide technical assistance in troubleshooting/solving problems for network, systems and end users.
Troubleshoots and resolves any IT service issues related to operating systems and servers.
Trains the technical support staff on solving common systems-related problems. Leverages optimization techniques to maximize the efficiency of all computers systems.
Provide on-call support to the Division of Early Learning with all IT related matters including server issues, network issues, security issues, and staff shortages.
Develop strategies and direction for network systems solutions using current and emerging technologies.
Configure and maintain phone systems, routers, switches and hubs for the network systems (including wireless).
Provide technical writing for the documentation of any system and technical efforts and best practices.

The Division of Early Learning has deployed a statewide information system for School Readiness and Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten services and we support 100+ staff/executives and system end users across the State of Florida. We are looking for a candidate with broad IT system and network experience; someone who is always striving to learn and maintain best practices and trends in modern IT systems to help our team to learn and grow as we support DEL and its broader mission. Part of the scope of this position is to work along with managed services at the Northwest Regional Data Center (NWRDC). This position will assist DEL as needed to perform support, upgrades, patches or troubleshoot server/system, web application and workstation issues. We are looking for a self-starter, a problem solver who is organized and goal/customer oriented. As a small IT services desk shop, we strive as a team to maintain a quality work/life balance and work together to offer the best solutions for our office and team
