Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures to assist in diagnosing, monitoring, and treating diseases or conditions
- Prepare samples for analysis and conduct laboratory tests according to established procedures and protocols
- Analyze and interpret test results, ensuring accuracy and precision
- Maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and supplies in proper working order
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with other laboratory staff members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
- Document and report test results accurately and promptly
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and equipment
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology and animal physiology is a plus
- Proficiency in microbiology techniques and analysis
- Experience in scientific research and development is preferred
- Understanding of CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) regulations is desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
