Job Description

A reputable engineering consulting firm is currently seeking a Project Engineer for their Nashville, Tennessee team!



Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate tasks of junior staff (drafting personnel, technical and engineers)
  • Mentor/train junior staff
  • Keep tasks current, within budget and on schedule
  • Assist with cost estimating
  • Secure preliminary equipment costs for review
  • Research/implement new methods and ideas
  • Assist with business development
  • Prepare complex reports, design calculations, design drawings and specifications
  • Prepare feasibility reports
  • Maintain a working knowledge of accepted engineering design standards/practices that will help the firm meet client needs and QA/QC standards
  • Maintain complete project records/documentation



Requirements:

  • BS in Civil Engineering
  • 5+ years of civil engineering experience
  • PE License
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, GIS, Revit and other computer-based design tools
  • Familiar with industry standards of design


Salary is commensurate with experience.
