We seek to identify a suitable candidate who consistently delivers excellent customer service and accuracy skills while processing transactions.

Major Job Duties:

  • Examine MoneyGram receive forms & verify information
  • Enter customers' transactions into Customer Management System in order to record transactions and issue computer-generated receipts.
  • Identify transaction mistakes when debits and credits do not balance
  • Explain, promote, or sell all services such as Mobile top-up, MoneyGram, Bill Payment, Loans and any other value-added service
  • Perform clerical tasks such as cheque requisitions and lodgements
  • Monitor vaults to ensure cash balances are correct
  • Order a supply of cash to meet daily needs
  • Inform customers about Bank of Jamaica regulations
  • Quote exchange rates as per computer (MoneyGram)
  • Any other job related duties assigned

Qualification:

  • A minimum of four (4) C.X.C. subjects including Mathematics and English Language
  • A minimum of one (1) year of working experience as a Teller ina similar environment

Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of cash handling procedure
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be computer literate and possess excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organization and accuracy skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Accuracy skills in dealing with cash and processing transactions.
