We seek to identify a suitable candidate who consistently delivers excellent customer service and accuracy skills while processing transactions.
Major Job Duties:
- Examine MoneyGram receive forms & verify information
- Enter customers' transactions into Customer Management System in order to record transactions and issue computer-generated receipts.
- Identify transaction mistakes when debits and credits do not balance
- Explain, promote, or sell all services such as Mobile top-up, MoneyGram, Bill Payment, Loans and any other value-added service
- Perform clerical tasks such as cheque requisitions and lodgements
- Monitor vaults to ensure cash balances are correct
- Order a supply of cash to meet daily needs
- Inform customers about Bank of Jamaica regulations
- Quote exchange rates as per computer (MoneyGram)
- Any other job related duties assigned
Qualification:
- A minimum of four (4) C.X.C. subjects including Mathematics and English Language
- A minimum of one (1) year of working experience as a Teller ina similar environment
Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of cash handling procedure
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be computer literate and possess excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organization and accuracy skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Accuracy skills in dealing with cash and processing transactions.
