Solar Superintendent

The superintendent will:

• Monitor and guide the subcontractors through the mechanical and electrical installation from mobilization to final completion.
• Write daily job reports and provides these to Radiance, especially the project manager, construction director, and CEO, via GoFormz. The daily job reports are vital to:

• keep track of the project progress
• ensure the subcontractors follow the construction schedule and work in a timely manner
• ensure all members of the construction team follow the OSHA and Radiance safety requirements.

• Work with the project manager, as well as the procurement and construction directors to:

• plan construction processes
• solve issues that arise in the field
• schedule inspections when milestones have been met.

• Keep track of materials and personnel on the site.
• Resolve on-site emergencies.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a construction superintendent or similar
• Strong leader
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Understanding of processes and methods of solar construction
• Knowledge of safety standards
• Ability to read and use construction drawings, manuals, and similar documents
• Ability to use a computer for communication, including daily job reports, commenting on PDFs, email, spreadsheets, and word processing
