The inventory control lead will assess inventory inaccuracies and lead cross functional corrective actions necessary to support continuous process improvement and operational excellence.

The role requires analytical skills, attention to detail and initiative to be able to find trends, root causes and solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with 3PL team to improve physical inventory management through weekly reports to identify discrepancies between our systems, coordinate and solve AVT (actual versus theoretical) and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure an accurate split of products among warehouses to improve our customer satisfaction (validation of actual percentage and frequency), analysis of actual inventory, product transfer and follow-up in the completion of tasks at 3PL.
  • Collaborate on managing quarantine products, product segregation, follow up and product release/disposal.
  • Update product availability, portfolio validation by warehouse, identify missing product at specific warehouse, determine SLOB (slow movers and obsolete).
  • Lead physical inventory on a quarterly basis, establish robust periodic physical inventory process and drive the process across multiple departments,internal and 3PL warehouses.
  • Provide support on different projects involving transfer of products among warehouses, follow-up and constant communication with clients and suppliers.
  • Ability to go on site and work closely with our 3PL/warehouse partners, being able to gather, sort and analyze data to understand how to help/improve daily operation to create an impact in our service.
  • Perform daily activities among Sales, Operation and Support.
  • Establish, monitor, analyze, improve key metrics related to inventory management.
  • Collaborate in Oracle implementation.

Requirements :

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2-3 year data analysis experience.
  • 2-3 year inventory management experience
  • 2-3 year experience working with warehouses.
  • Attention to detail and initiative.
  • Collaborate as team player or leader role.
  • Hands-on, attention to details, analytical skills and problem solver
  • Energetic, self-starter thinker
  • Continuous process and system improvement minded in a cross-functional environment. It is important to be comfortable to define and drive implementation of new and improved processes.
  • Flexible, adaptive, comfortable with multi-tasking, fast changing, ready to create immediate impact.
  • Close collaboration with different operational departments, warehouses and 3PLs
  • Advanced excel and ERP system savvy.


FAIR PAY & A JUST WORKPLACE

At SolarEdge, we are committed to fair, transparent pay and we strive to provide competitive, market-informed compensation. The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $65k - $85k. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall near the middle of this range. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.

Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
