We are looking for aFinance Operationsspecialist to join our team inAs a Finance Operations specialist you will report to the Group Financial Controller and work closely with other members of the Global Finance & Operations team to maintain the financial record keeping and deliver accurate and timely financial reporting for the Portuguese Furthermore, you will support the Portugal team by organizing and coordinating administration duties and office

This role is a perfect fit for someone who is organized, likes to get things done and gets energy from helping A successful Finance Operations specialist should have an analytic mindset with a constant strive to support the organization with underlying data but also be familiar with typical office software (email tools and spreadsheets) and be able to accurately handle administrative Does this sound like you? Within this role, your responsibilities and tasks as Finance Operations specialist will include:
  • Follow up with our Consulting team at the end of the month regarding hours booked and send out the invoices to clients
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices
  • Act as liaison between the third-party accountants and the business to ensure books are correctly maintained
  • Being responsible for the bookkeeping process
  • Monitor the cash flow position on a weekly basis
  • Being responsible for logging payments in the bank

Other ad hoc tasks to support the Portugal team such as:

  • Making sure the Porto office is fully equipped, maintain office condition, and arrange necessary repairs
  • Respond to general requests regarding the office
  • Support the HR team with onboarding new employees and employees doubts
  • Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering, and security services
  • Book hotels or other reservations for any events


Requirements

Experience and skills that you can use at Roboyo:

  • You are a certified professional by the Ordem dos Contabilistas Certificados (OCC)
  • You enjoy working with numbers and are interested in finance and accounting
  • You think analytically and have a very good understanding of numbers
  • You are familiar with MS Office applications, especially Excel
  • You work independently, structured and goal-oriented
  • You have strong time management skills and ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize work
  • You have strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail
  • Previous experience with Dynamics 365 is of great value
  • You are fluent in English and Portuguese, other languages are a plus (Spanish, Italian, French, German, Swedish )
