About the Brand and Marketing Return on Investment Centre of Excellence

We advise clients on how to grow sales and brand equity for their brands, based on modelling of the brands sales, marketing and consumer perception data. Kantars proprietary methods quantify both short- and long-term gains from marketing investment, to provide a holistic picture of how far brand investments can really go. Skilled reading of consumer response models also helps us to guide brands on their advertising and communication strategies.

We are looking for a
Senior Analytics Consultant
in Centre of Excellence Analytics team located in Warsaw.


ROLE DESCRIPTION

As a Senior AnalytiConsultant, you will be responsible for delivering marketing / customer analytics projects (full or part, depending on the size of the project) independently to Kantar Analytics partners or directly to the end client.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute smaller projects of up to 3 models end to end with minimum supervision from your manager. This includes but is not restricted to:
Managing the day to day activities of project
Email correspondence with client
Coordinating calls with client
Coordinating internal calls with team members, if working in a team
Seek clarifications on data from client
Clean, manipulate and harmonize data for modelling
Help with formulating meta-data
Build models which are statistically sound and make business sense
Translate model results into answers for the client in business language.
Build accurate tools (simulation / optimization) for client use
Arrive at implications for client business
Guide younger team members in variable selection and model finalisation


ESSENTIAL SKILLS

To succeed, you will need:
4+ years of proven marketing / e-com analytics experience
Relevant work experience in/for one or many of CPG, Retail, CRM, e-commerce
Sound business knowledge of one or more of these sectors
Experience in delivering projects involving Marketing Mix Analysis, Time series forecasting, SEM
Hands-on modeling experience using R, SAS, SQL and other equivalent analytical tools
Fluency in English (C1/C2 level) to work smoothly in an international environment
Ability to translate numbers, techniques, statistics into non-technical language and implications for business
Ability to translate business problem into analytical framework, chunk down the task, make decisions based on business and analytical comprehend intricate and diverse range of business problems and analyze them with limited or complex data and provide a feasible solution framework
Strong sense of ownership for project delivery
Good team players skills


QUALIFICATIONS

Other things that will help you in that position:
Knowledge of any programming language (preferably Python/R)
Knowledge of econometrics
University degree in one of the following areas: economics / econometrics, marketing, finance
