Tasks

Pearl Industrial Contractors is immediately hiring skilled and motivated Concrete Laborers for projects located in and around Simmesport, LA. This is a first-shift opportunity with a pay range of $25/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Concrete Laborer, eager to demonstrate your knowledge and skills while learning new ones, this is your chance to advance in your career!

Construction duties include:

• Concrete repair
• Concrete demolition
• Concrete placement and finishing
• Formwork/carpentry
• Rebar replacement
• Concrete Coating application
• Fireproofing Installation
• Structural Steel Welding
• Equipment Grouting

Requirements

• Possess a TWIC card
• Previous Industrial Plant experience
• Current Basic and Basic Plus Safety Council Training preferred
• Turnaround/Shutdown Experience preferred
• Must be willing to wear a respirator
• Able to pass written or computerized industrial plant entrance tests
• Must be willing to travel to jobs outside of the Houston area
• Experience with a self-performing contractor, general contractor (GC), or specialty contractor
