Content manager / Team Lead

You will be working in the greater Marketing Team which is made up of Content Managers/Copywriters and SEO Specialists to ensure the content and resources on all our 30+ international websites are up to date and of the highest quality.

Aside from our industry-best SaaS product, we aim to provide the highest quality content and resources to our users in an easy-to-understand and visually appealing way. Currently, our writing team consist of 3 writers who are very self-sufficient but could use some structure and clear, unified lines.

Tasks

You will be responsible for the overall content strategy and quality of all our 30+ websites. You will manage the content planning and make sure that it gets executed according to deadlines.

You will be managing a team of Content Managers/Copywriters and make sure that they deliver the highest quality content in all of the 15+ languages in which we work. You will be involved in the recruiting and hiring of new full-time team members as well as the hiring and managing of freelancers as needed.

You will be responsible for delegating and following up on tasks using our project management tools. In addition, you re able to contribute to our rapid international expansion by spotting, reporting and supporting on-site improvements while working side-by-side with our SEO Specialists to deliver the best experience for our users.

With this, among other things, you will contribute to our team and business being taken to the next level of growth in the coming years.

Requirements

You know the power of content and understand its role in the customer journey and as such, you can create opportunities out of challenges.

Hard skills:

• This role requires experience working with different CMS systems;
• Knowledge of product management tools e.g. Jira and Asana will be prioritised;
• Experience working in different CRMs/automation tools is highly valued;
• Candidates should be comfortable working with Slack and Google Workspace Apps;
• Extra consideration will be given to those with working Google Analytics knowledge.
• You have exceptional writing skills and enjoy writing catchy content (long-form blog copy, short-form web copy, advertising copy, scripts, newsletters, transactional emails etc.) in-line with our writing style and editorial guidelines.

Soft Skills:

• You have experience in leading a team (preferably of Content Managers and Copywriters).
• You should know how to motivate people and guide a team in being creative and proactive;
• You should have an open and approachable personality and strong communication skills (at least English or Dutch, any other language is a bonus);
• You should have a minimum of 3 years of experience with content management, content planning and copywriting, preferably in an international environment and in the B2C market;
• This role requires attention to detail and an exceptional ability to multitask;
• You should have at least an HBO level/critical thinking mentality;
• You should be enterprising and strongly focused on quality and results;
• You should be creative and full of ideas and take action to implement them;
• You should have a good dose of positive energy.
