Senior Android Engineer - English

Our client is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a focus on Android technologies (m/f/d) to join their Engineering team in G ppingen or Stuttgart and actively engage in the development of one of their new product features.

Tasks

- Designing and developing new features for our client's product with a focus on android technologies using Kotlin and Java

- Optimizing and enhancing the software with new, efficient, algorithms and modern software technologies

- Providing guidance and motivation to colleagues through code reviews and support

- Contributing actively to the company's future development without hesitation in assisting or improving processes

- Working independently on solutions for specified requirements and writing clean and robust code following coding guidelines

- Monitoring the latest technical developments in the fields and making proposals for improvement based on the current state of knowledge and the opportunity to mentor and coach interns and junior developers

Requirements

- Degree in the field of Software Engineering or any related field

- Few years of experience in the field of software development

- Proven knowledge in the use of Android programming languages (Java/Kotlin) and experience in the field of mobile development with Android SDK

- Knowledge of C++ is a plus

- Good understanding of agile software development method, software architecture, design patterns, and object-oriented programming

- Structured and analytical way of thinking and working

- Independent and autonomous approach to solving problems

- Ability to speak English fluently, other languages such as German are a plus
