Senior Software Engineer, Cross-Platform (Mobile)

We are hiring a Client Developer to work in our growing Shared Services team, internally called the Nexus. You will work in a cloud-native environment (GCP and AWS) with a primary focus on our internal B2B SDKs for the iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) applications. This role is the first of its kind, and were looking for someone who works well with others. As the sole client developer on the team you will have ownership over the process and direction of the role.As a startup within a startup the Nexus will be taking on more and more in-house development, and we are hiring out this role first since we feel it is the most crucial to our future successResponsibilities
Own the development, testing, and maintenance of native SDKs on both iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin)
Partner with the Hinge client engineers to design and test new features and products the integrate with the Nexus
Provide thought leadership in mobile engineering and help drive the future of the Nexus SDK team
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
Collaborate with team members to refine our best practices and processesWhat We are Looking For
Strong collaboration and team working skills, this role will interact with many developers across the Hinge organization.
Proficient in Swift & Kotlin SDK design
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and backend interactions
