Qualifications:
6+ years experience in IBM MQ, WebSphere Application Server, Enterprise Content Manager, Tomcat & JBoss.
6+ years experience of the full software development lifecycle.
TIBCO experience is an advantage.
Excellent problem solving, communication and documentation skills.
Scripting & CLI experience for installing/administering Middleware products.
Automation experience using YAML/JSON with Ansible and other automation tools.
Should have strong UNIX/Linux operating system administration experience.
SWIFT experience/knowledge a plus.
Should have experience working with various J2EE container technologies & webservers.
Experience with installation, configuration and administration of IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM Integration Bus, IBM MQ & JBoss EAP mandatory.
Knowledge of security configuration related to the middleware products already listed a plus.
Must have quality team building skills, positive attitude, detail oriented, self-motivated and strong project management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities that continually change.
Willingness to work weekends, holidays and on call when necessary.
Responsibilities:
Deploy, administer, support and maintain middleware applications to enable communication between financial applications on diverse platforms with varying interfaces.
Responsible for the installation, maintenance and configuration of IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS), IBM MQ, IBM Integration Bus (IIB), IBM HTTP Server (IHS), IBM Enterprise Content Manager (ECM), Apache, Tomcat, Red Hat JBoss EAP, Spring Boot, TIBCO Business Works, TIBCO BPM, and TIBCO EMS.
Assess and identify appropriate changes and make recommendations for implementation.
Perform MQ/IIB/WAS/ECM/IHS/Apache/JBoss/TIBCO system administration, troubleshooting, monitoring, problem resolution, system security and change implementation.
Work individually or in a team on various system projects related to Linux and Application support.
Plan, prepare and apply maintenance fixes and perform technology upgrades.
Renew SSL certificates.
Support disaster recovery activities.
Assist application support team with high-level problem program debugging through dump analysis.
Provide system support including off shift on call support as and when required.
Document processes and participate in cross training if required.
