- Calculate the cost of products or services
- Process sales transactions
- Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change
- Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts
- Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
- Stay up to date on merchandise promotions, advertisements and product information
- Cashier experience with good knowledge of using cash register
- Know the products and give recommendations
- Collect payments and issue receipts
- Maintain clean work area
