Sales Trader

We are looking to hire an experienced Sales Trader to make an immediate impact on the client-relations side of our growing institutional trading this dynamic role youll serve as a front-facing representative of Jane Street and a valued liaison between our sales and trading teams and institutional clients.

Youll be a primary point of contact for our clients across ETFs corporate bonds and listed derivatives facilitating trade execution across the entire life cycle. This is the core of the role but the people who excel are the ones who turn reliable execution into lasting partnerships positioning Jane Street as their clients go-to for current and new execution needs. Youll bring clients thoughtful pre- and post-trade analysis anticipate what theyre trying to achieve and consistently deliver an excellent and enjoyable client experience.

The right candidate will have superb interpersonal skills and a genuine enthusiasm for building trust with sophisticated clients over time. Youll combine strong commercial instincts with analytical depth allowing you to anticipate client needs spark new conversations and thrive in a team that has built a culture of trust respect and collaboration.

• Have 8 years of experience in sales trading preferably from the sellside covering buyside clients or execution trading on the buyside
• Demonstrated success in managing and building external relationships particularly customer relationships
• Able to demonstrate critical thinking skills and implement ideas in a fast-changing environment
• Motivated collaborative and experienced teaching others and learning new techniques
• Excellent planning analytical interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented organized and thorough with a desire to seek continuous improvements where possible
• Able to multi-task and coordinate with colleagues as needed
• Experienced with covering a broad client base; institutional coverage is a plus
• Fluent in English any other Asian languages (e.g. Mandarin Chinese Korean Japanese Thai) would be a plus
