Project Manager (Office Relocation)
Job Summary
Our client is an MNC company and they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage local and regional office relocation projects. The successful candidate will oversee the full project lifecyclefrom initial planning and vendor coordination through relocation handover and post-move supportwhile ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of local and regional office relocation projects.
- Develop detailed project plans covering scope timelines budgets resources dependencies risks and milestones.
- Coordinate relocation workstreams involving facilities office fit-out IT infrastructure telecommunications security access control furniture logistics and employee moves.
- Manage local and regional stakeholders including business leaders corporate functions landlords building management consultants contractors and vendors.
- Oversee vendor selection tendering commercial negotiations delivery schedules and service quality.
- Conduct site assessments and readiness reviews before relocation.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to senior stakeholders.
- Identify and manage project risks issues delays and changes escalating critical matters when necessary.
- Develop communication plans contingency arrangements and business continuity measures to minimise operational disruption.
- Coordinate testing commissioning handover documentation defect resolution and post-relocation support.
- Ensure compliance with company policies building requirements health and safety standards and applicable local regulations.
- Maintain complete project documentation and conduct post-project review.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Computer Science Information Technology or a related discipline.
- Experience working in a multinational or matrix organisation.
- Proven experience in leading and managing both local and regional office relocation projects.
- Strong experience managing cross-functional teams multiple stakeholders vendors budgets schedules and project risks.
- Good understanding of office relocation requirements across facilities workplace IT infrastructure security logistics and change management.
- Excellent planning organisation problem-solving negotiation and decision-making skills.
- Strong project governance documentation reporting and presentation capabilities.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese including Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Willingness to support relocation or cutover activities outside normal business hours when required.
