Position : Executive Officer II (Patient Relations Office)
Department / Hospital / Cluster : Patient Relations Office / Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital / Hong Kong Island Cluster
Salary : HK$37590 to HK$66291 (HGPS Point 15 to 27) per month including Monthly Allowance

Key Responsibilities
1. Handle patient or public complaints feedback request for assistance and enquiries.
2. Handle medico-legal and public liability claims.
3. Support clinical departments to handle difficult or conflicting patient relations situations.
4. Enhance communication with patient/family in managing patient safety incidents.
5. Coordinate and organize patient relations and engagement education/training programmes.
6. Coordinate and organize meetings and workshops with relevant stakeholders.
7. Other related duties as assigned by supervisors.

Entry Requirements
1. A university degree or equivalent.
2. Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.

Preferred Attributes / Exposure
1. Good command of verbal and written communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese.
2. Good interpersonal skills to work with multi-disciplinary healthcare professionals and members of the public.
3. Able to handle adverse situations and tight work schedule independently.
4. Working experience in complaint management or customer service.
5. Good managerial competence in problem solving decision making and quality management.

2. This post is a time-limited post. Selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed-term appointment for up to 1 March 2027 depending on his/her existing employment terms. The renewal / extension of appointment will be subject to service needs availability of funding and job performance.
3. Required to work outside normal office hours perform on-call duties work shift and irregular hours and attend duties during typhoon black rainstorm warning and other emergencies.
