About the role
As the Team Lead Dispute Resolution Manager you will lead a team responsible for managing workers compensation disputes from initial review through to resolution. Youll provide leadership technical guidance and day-to-day support to ensure quality outcomes compliance obligations and service standards are consistently achieved.
Key responsibilities
Lead coach and develop a team of Dispute Resolution Managers in a fast-paced workers compensation environment
Provide day-to-day operational support guidance and escalation management
Oversee the management of disputes across the workers compensation portfolio
Monitor team performance workload and service delivery against agreed targets and quality standards
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders employers injured workers legal representatives and external partners
Support team capability through coaching feedback and performance development
Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to operational efficiencies
Ensure compliance with workers compensation legislation policy and internal governance requirements
Support reporting workforce planning and broader team initiatives as required
About you
Youll be a collaborative leader with strong workers compensation experience and a passion for supporting teams to deliver meaningful outcomes.

Demonstrated experience within Workers Compensation
Previous leadership or team management experience
Strong understanding of dispute management and claims processes
Ability to manage competing priorities and support escalations effectively
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Strong coaching and people leadership capability
Ability to interpret legislation policy and business procedures
A proactive mindset with a focus on customer outcomes and continuous improvement
