Bakers Delight Castletown is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills customer service experience and a passion for managing daily retail operations in a busy bakery environment.
Key Duties
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
Managing the daily operations of the retail bakery store
Supervising training and supporting sales and front-of-house staff
Ensuring excellent customer service is delivered at all times
Monitoring stock levels and coordinating ordering requirements
Managing product displays presentation and store merchandising
Handling customer enquiries feedback and complaints professionally
Ensuring sales targets and store performance goals are met
Managing staff rosters attendance and workplace performance
Maintaining store cleanliness hygiene and food safety standards
Assisting with pricing promotions and local store marketing activities
Ensuring compliance with company policies WHS and food safety requirements
Liaising with suppliers bakery production staff and business owners as required
Requirements
Applicants must have:
Relevant qualification in business management retail hospitality or similar
At least 2 years of relevant experience in retail management or store management
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage staff rosters stock and daily operations
Good understanding of retail sales merchandising and store presentation
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment including weekends and busy periods
