Were looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Projects & Construction team and play a key role in delivering essential Gas infrastructure transmission projects that support communities and industry.

This is an opportunity to lead meaningful projects from concept through to completion working alongside talented professionals in a collaborative safety-focused environment. About the Role

Reporting to the Project Delivery Manager youll be responsible for the successful delivery of projects ensuring objectives are achieved safely efficiently and in alignment with stakeholder expectations.

You will bring people together coordinate resources manage risks and build strong relationships across internal and external stakeholder groups to deliver successful project outcomes.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Leading projects from initiation through to close-out.
  • Building strong relationships with clients contractors and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared project goals.
  • Managing project scope schedules budgets risks and governance requirements.
  • Supporting procurement activities and contractor engagement.
  • Facilitating communication and ensuring stakeholders remain informed and engaged.
  • Monitoring project performance and implementing improvements where required.
  • Promoting a strong culture of safety wellbeing quality and collaboration.
  • Mentoring and supporting the development of Project Engineers and emerging talent.
  • Capturing lessons learned and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders in complex environments.
  • Strong project management capability including planning budgeting scheduling and risk management.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and influence outcomes.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Commitment to safety quality and delivering positive project outcomes.
  • Utilities experience particularly within gas transmission and/or distribution is highly regarded.
  • Qualification in Engineering Business Project Management or a related discipline.
  • Project Management certification (CPPM PMP PRINCE2 or equivalent) is advantageous.
