Civil Project Manager
Job Summary
True North Personnel is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a highly regarded civil construction contractor delivering major infrastructure and construction projects across the Northern Territory.
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and commercially focused professional to take ownership of project delivery from planning through to completion. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely efficiently on time and within budget while leading high-performing teams and maintaining strong client relationships.
About the Role
Reporting to the Civil Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of civil construction and infrastructure projects throughout the Northern Territory.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing projects from commencement through to completion
- Leading project teams supervisors subcontractors and suppliers
- Managing project budgets schedules and resource allocation
- Monitoring project performance and commercial outcomes
- Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
- Ensuring compliance with WHS environmental and quality requirements
- Coordinating project documentation reporting and contract administration
- Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies
- Managing project meetings progress reporting and client communications
- Providing leadership mentoring and support to site-based teams
About You
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Australian based experience in Project Management within civil construction & infrastructure ideally within the Northern Territory.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets and deliver successful outcomes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance requirements
- Construction White Card
- Current C Class Drivers Licence
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
Highly regarded:
- Project Management qualifications
- First Aid Certificate
- Experience delivering projects within the Northern Territory
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
