About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end category strategy for logistics and transportation services driving value efficiency and innovation across the supply chain
• Deliver measurable cost savings and commercial outcomes while maintaining service quality and operational resilience
• Partner with Supply Chain Operations Procurement Finance and key stakeholders to align category plans with business objectives
• Lead sourcing activities including tendering contract negotiation and supplier selection for logistics providers
  Manage logistics supplier relationships ensuring performance compliance and service standards are met
• Identify opportunities to optimise distribution networks improve service levels and reduce cost-to-serve
• Analyse supplier and category performance data to support decision-making and continuous improvement
• Identify market trends emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance logistics performance and competitive advantage

About You

• 37 years experience in Category Management Strategic Sourcing Procurement or Supply Chain roles
• Demonstrated experience managing logistics-related categories including transportation freight warehousing distribution courier or 3PL services
• Proven experience leading sourcing events supplier evaluations and contract negotiations
• Experience delivering measurable cost savings value creation or service improvement initiatives
• Experience managing supplier performance and developing effective supplier relationships
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver commercial and operational outcomes
• Strong commercial acumen with a data-driven and analytical approach
• Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at multiple levels
