The role
NEPEAN Belting is seeking an experienced Belting Services Coordinator to represent our service operations across the Mackay & Bowen basinregion. This role is ideal for a motivated conveyor belting professional who thrives in a customer-facing leadership position and wants to play a key role in supporting and growing a high-performing field service team.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary customer contact for belting services within the region ensuring responsive support and effective issue resolution
Coordinate field service operations including conveyor belt installation repair maintenance and breakdown response
Schedule and supervise field service personnel equipment and materials across multiple projects
Prepare quotations manage orders and maintain project documentation through the ERP system
Lead and support field teams through recruitment training performance management and development initiatives
Ensure all work is completed safely efficiently and in compliance with company WHSE systems procedures and standards
Promote a strong safety and high-performance culture including hazard identification and incident management
Participate in operational planning and contribute to the growth of aftermarket services belting supply and belt cleaner product opportunities
About You
To succeed in this role you will bring both hands-on technical conveyor belting experience strong operational coordination & leadership capabilities and well-developed customer relationship skills.
Essential:
Certificate III in Polymer Processing or a relevant Mechanical Trade
Minimum 5 years post-trade experience in conveyor belting
Minimum 5 years underground black coal experience
Strong understanding of conveyor belt installation repair and maintenance
Current C Class Driver Licence
Highly regarded:
Experience coordinating field service teams
Experience preparing quotations and managing customer relationships
Knowledge of PRONTO ERP or similar systems
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities across remote sites
