Assistant Coordinator Melton South

Join us in Melton South as an Assistant Coordinator ready to build your confidence in leadership operations and team management within a supportive environment. This permanent part-time role offers 30 hours per week. Youll work across split shifts Monday to Friday: 6.45 - 9.00am (Rise then Shine) and 2.45 - 6.30pm (Stay and Play).

About the role

The role is designed for someone ready to step up and develop as a leader. With support from experienced regional managers and a dedicated state office team there will be many opportunities where youll gain hands-on leadership experience while making a genuine impact in your local school community. You will also play a key role in the ongoing growth and success with this school. 

Youll have the opportunity to:

• Help lead and mentor a passionate team of Educators onsite
• Become RP (responsible person) trained
• Build your confidence in roster management service operations compliance and administration
• Create exciting child-led programs including STEM cooking sport art and craft experiences
• Foster positive relationships with children families schools and the wider community
• Develop the skills and experience needed to progress into future management opportunities

Qualifications :

• Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!)
• State working-with-children check
• Australian working rights
• National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)  
• VIC Diploma-Level - Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a Diploma-level Educator in VIC in accordance with ACECQA
