Senior AssociateJob Description & Summary
The Data Engineer builds and maintains data systems that serve as the backbone for analytics and reporting. This role ensures the seamless flow of data across systems enabling the organization to monitor performance and make informed decisions.Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop data pipelines for integrating cleaning and transforming data from multiple banking systems into usable formats.
Collaborate with business analysts and BI teams to ensure data readiness for dashboards and reports.
Troubleshoot optimize and monitor data workflows to ensure consistent performance and reliability.
Implement data storage and retrieval solutions that align with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
Ensure data accuracy and completeness through rigorous validation and testing practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
4 years of experience in data engineering with exposure to the banking sector particularly in collections and loans.
Strong knowledge of delinquency rates collection efficiency and loan portfolio health and their application in data analytics.
Proficient in Spark Airflow and Delta Lake for building scalable pipelines.
Advanced SQL skills with experience in Presto PostgreSQL and Hive.
Familiarity with MinIO/S3 for data storage and compliance practices.
Understanding of reporting requirements and collaboration with BI teams.
