Job Description Summary
GE HealthCares Point of Care Ultrasound team in Haifa is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Administrator to support our supply chain operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth procurement processes managing import/export logistics and maintaining accounting accuracy for supply chain transactions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and contribute to operational excellence and compliance.Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement & Purchasing Administration
- Process purchase orders and maintain accurate records in ERP systems.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve order discrepancies.
- Support sourcing activities and vendor onboarding in collaboration with global procurement teams.
Import/Export Operations
- Manage documentation and compliance for international shipments.
- Liaise with freight forwarders customs brokers and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth logistics.
- Track shipments and proactively address delays or issues.
Accounting & Financial Control
- Reconcile purchase orders invoices and receipts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Support month-end closing activities related to supply chain transactions.
- Collaborate with finance teams to ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with R&D manufacturing and quality teams to align supply chain activities with project timelines.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in procurement and logistics processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management Logistics or related field.
- 2 years of experience in purchasing logistics or supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Fluent in Hebrew and English.
