Our client is a leading regional group seeking to hire a Sales Engineer based in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. This role involves managing the sales process from prospecting to dealclosing including presentations negotiations and followups on payments and deliveries. The focus will be on specific industry sectors products and customer accounts.
Job Description:
- Prospection: Targeting new customers who have not previously purchased from the Company or regain lost customers or maximize the potential of existing accounts.
- Speed: Respond to any request from a prospect customer colleague or supplier within 24 hours to maximize customer satisfaction and maintain a professional company image.
- Competence: understand the customers specific requirements collect detailed information and prepare RFQ forms and quotations in coordination with Sales Technical and Supplier teams.
- Relationship: Maintaining continuous contact with prospects and customers being the 360degree touchpoint for nurturing a longterm relation.
- Developing and maintaining a high level of technical product knowledge via continuous trainings.
- Understanding the customers needs to identify needs of improvement and maximize the sales potential.
- Conduct product demos to customers in showroom at other customers or at international suppliers.
- Set pricing and negotiate with suppliers and customers to achieve targets.
Qualification:
- Degree: Engineering.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in sales.
- Languages: Arabic English.
- Computer literate (MS Office Outlook).
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and people relationship skills.
- Clear reporting skills to describe in detail all the work done and feedback from customer.
- Detailoriented to include photos and a full description of work done or request from customer.
- Honesty to communicate honestly with all colleagues and customers about all topics.
- Hard work to complete tasks fully and followup until completion.
- Dedication to complete tasks on time.
