Assists the technology department in various technology-related duties including but not limited to infrastructure cabling repairing devices installing switches and setting up workstations.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
No specific level of education required (Must be 16 yrs of age or older)
Special Knowledge/Skills:
General knowledge of computer hardware and networking
Experience:
Experience working with technology devices
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Installing computer hardware and printers. Assist with inventory and confirming workstation setups are correct.
Installing switches UPSs and Infrastructure cabling.
Assist with installing and infrastructure cabling for access control and cameras.
Posture: prolonged sitting; regular bending/stooping pushing/pulling and twisting
Motion: Strenuous walking climbing crawling and reaching; frequent keyboarding/use of mouse
Lifting: Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
Environment: Work inside and outside (moderate exposure to sun heat cold and inclement weather) moderate exposure to noise frequent district-wide travel
Mental Demands: Maintain emotional control under stress; prolonged hours
