Job Summary
Plans directs and coordinates activities of area sites to ensure that clients needs are met and/or exceeded by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Manage the on site safety program driving a safety first culture. |
Develop key client relationships. |
Manage the workload to an established Budget. |
Ensures associates are serving both internal and external customers needs. |
Maintain the site process manuals and ensure compliance to SOPs. |
Update and manage all changes to the contract equipment list or specifications through the Change Order Process. |
Manage/Assess/Develop associates through the PAF process. |
Works with Human Resources to coach and discipline associates according to policy. |
Perform candidate interviews and manage the new hire process. |
Manages the site HR process and submits completed reviews on time. |
Manage the site employee training matrix to insure all employees have obtained required training. |
Manage subcontractors including competitive bid process for requested projects. |
Able to create and document bid estimates. |
Manage Subcontractor site safety video and contract specific documents. |
Ensures that paperwork and the work-orders from site are completed accurately and timely. |
Prepares for and attends required customer and Viox meetings including bimonthly site visits regular staff meetings and steering team meetings. |
Monitors all trade group activities and sub-contractors on daily or project basis. |
Able to perform required work orders as needed. |
Able to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. |
Manage Site Performance Metrics and implement action plans to address any metrics not meeting established goals. |
Maintains Site supplies inventory. |
Prior to contract commencement assist Transition Project Manager in Transition process as assigned. |
Co-ordinate customer driven or PM generated project work-orders. |
Site management responsibilities: Time Sheets Work Orders Financials Reporting to steering meetings (co-ordination and working w/Account Mgr) PO Generation and Approval CMMS PMs Subordinate supervision. |
Qualifications
Education (HS Diploma Under/Graduate Degree etc.) | Bachelors Degree (BA) or equivalent from an accredited college or equivalent combination of education and experience |
Business Experience (prior years work/related experience) | Minimum 10 years experience in an industrial environment |
Licenses/Certifications | Must possess a valid drivers license |
Language Skills | English -Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. |
Computer Skills Microsoft applications: o Emphasis on use of Excel. Experience with formulas graphs and data manipulation. Should be able to move fluently through spread sheets. o Word should be able to create and/or modify existing Word document o Power Point should be able to create and/or modify existing PP document Lotus Notes or other general use email programs Use of Internet and various search engines |
Knowledge of CMMS Must have prior experience in the use of a CMMS program |
Ability to read technical drawings |
Working knowledge of HVAC Plumbing Electrical and Mech. systems |
Good level of public speaking Must be able to make presentations to a group of people with the ability to speak clearly |

While performing the duties of this Job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and may work in high precarious places; the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outdoor weather conditions; extreme cold extreme heat risk of electrical shock and vibration. The employee will work in an environment where the following safety equipments are needed; steel toecap shoes hearing protection hardhat eye protection and hair protection. Abide by all safety guidelines including OSHA regulations lock-out/tag-out etc. Work schedule can be affected by production downtime and many other variables. Candidates should be extremely flexible with non-customary schedules and weekend work. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
