Job Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced and proactive ServiceNow Lead to oversee the design implementation administration and support of ServiceNow modules across a large enterprise environment.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ServiceNow engineering within a DevSecOps cloud environment strong leadership capabilities and expertise in integrating ServiceNow with enterprise platforms and SaaS solutions.
- This role requires collaboration with IT Operations Security DevOps teams and federal customers to deliver scalable and secure ServiceNow solutions while ensuring customer satisfaction and successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design implementation administration and support of ServiceNow platforms and modules across the enterprise.
- Manage and optimize ServiceNow ITSM ITOM CMDB Discovery and Asset Management modules.
- Gather business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
- Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and third-party SaaS platforms using APIs.
- Lead engineering teams in Agile and project-based environments to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Design and document implementation plans technical solutions workflows and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with IT Operations Security Infrastructure DevOps and business stakeholders.
- Support enterprise cloud initiatives involving AWS infrastructure and ServiceNow integrations.
- Develop custom ServiceNow functionality using server-side and client-side scripting.
- Implement DevSecOps best practices automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Create and deliver technical presentations status updates and solution overviews to customers and stakeholders.
- Partner with Account Program Managers to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with federal customer requirements and security standards.
Required Skills:
- 8 years of hands-on ServiceNow implementation administration and engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow ITSM ITOM CMDB Discovery and Asset Management.
- Extensive experience with ServiceNow platform customization and development.
- Strong experience in DevSecOps Engineering and Automation.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party applications and enterprise platforms using REST APIs and Web Services.
- Strong understanding of AWS Cloud Infrastructure including:
- EC2
- S3
- VPC
- Cloud Automation Tools
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD Pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD methodologies.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog.
- Strong understanding of enterprise digital infrastructure including:
- Servers
- Storage
- Networking
- Experience with JavaScript and Python scripting for ServiceNow customization and automation.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and best practices.
- Strong technical leadership and team management experience.
- Experience working in enterprise-scale integrated platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree with 8 years of relevant experience OR 12 years of experience with a High School Diploma/Equivalent.
- AWS Certifications (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Associate).
- ServiceNow Certifications including:
- Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS-ITSM)
- Other relevant ServiceNow certifications
- Experience supporting federal government customers.
- Experience leading large-scale ServiceNow transformation initiatives.
