Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Support Engineer to manage and support a complex SAP ecosystem comprising SAP ECC 6.0 SAP BW SAP PI/PO and SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ). The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring system stability performance availability and seamless integration across the SAP landscape while providing advanced technical support and administration.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and support SAP ECC BW PI/PO and BusinessObjects environments.
- Monitor system health performance availability and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Manage SAP transports (CTS/CTS) across ABAP and non-ABAP landscapes.
- Support PI/XI integrations RFC destinations ALE/IDOC interfaces and middleware operations.
- Perform system refreshes client copies upgrades patching and kernel maintenance.
- Administer BusinessObjects servers CMC Tomcat and reporting platform components.
- Provide L2/L3 support conduct root cause analysis and resolve complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure stable and efficient SAP operations.
- 5 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis Administration and Support.
- Strong expertise with SAP NetWeaver 7.x environments including both ABAP and Java stacks.
- Proven experience supporting SAP ECC BW PI/PO and BusinessObjects platforms.
- Hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects 4.x administration installation patching upgrades and SSO configuration.
- Strong knowledge of transport management system refreshes client copies and SAP lifecycle activities.
- Experience with database administration and support on Oracle Microsoft SQL Server or SAP Sybase.
- Solid understanding of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting analytical and problem-solving skills.
