River Roast is seeking an organized and guest-focusedSales Coordinator & Administrative Support professional to support sales event coordination and daily administrative operations. This role plays a key part in delivering exceptional service for private dining group events and restaurant functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming calls and inquiries with a professional client-focused approach.
- Support event sales efforts by assisting with proposals contracts and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
- Coordinate event details with operations and culinary teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions bookings and sales activity.
- Assist in driving revenue through effective follow-up and upselling opportunities.
Administrative & Financial Support
- Perform clerical duties to support sales and restaurant operations.
- Process and reconcile daily sales deposits and cash reports.
- Enter and track weekly sales and event data.
- Review and process vendor invoices ensuring pricing accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
- Perform monthly vendor statement reconciliations and assist with financial reports.
- Maintain organized and confidential personnel and business files.
- Assist with preparation of internal reports and employment-related documentation.
Operational Support
- Assist management with staffing coordination including last-minute coverage needs.
- Maintain strong working relationships with team members and leadership.
- Ensure accurate communication of event details across departments.
- Support a clean organized and safe work environment.
- Attend trainings and meetings as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality catering restaurant sales or administrative support preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; POS or event systems experience a plus.
- High attention to detail especially with financial data.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
