As the Chief Engineer - Robotics you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering departments technical direction and ensuring the successful execution of projects. You will lead a team of different development disciplines providing structure guidance and support to achieve the companys strategic goals. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams managing resources and ensuring the highest standards of engineering excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and manage the robotics development team advancing a culture of innovation collaboration delivery and continuous improvement.

• Advance the team to adhere to the engineering strategies principles processes and procedures to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

• Ensure the team adheres to the ASI Product Development Process (PDP) and passage of all gate reviews.

• Maintain compliance with budgets resource management and milestone deliveries.

• Oversee the design development and testing of engineering solutions ensuring they meet quality safety and performance standards.

• Perform internal development reviews and gates Example: Concept Detailed and Final Designs to ensure the requirements and project performance metrics are met.

• Collaborate with other departments including product management operations and manufacturing to align engineering efforts with business objectives.

• Manage engineering budgets resources and timelines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the robotics engineering team resolving complex technical issues and challenges.

• Promote requirements-driven designs ensuring that all engineering solutions are aligned with customer needs and business goals.

• Facilitate the alignment of verification and validation processes with the specified requirements.

• Stay up to date with industry trends emerging technologies and best practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations standards and certifications.

• Mentor and develop engineering talent promoting professional growth and career development within the team.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Robotics or a related field.

• 5 years of proven experience in a senior engineering leadership role.

• 5 years of experience leading engineering teams.

• Strong technical background with expertise in engineering principles practices and methodologies.

• Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a focus on delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Experience managing engineering budgets resources and timelines.

• Knowledge of relevant regulations standards and certifications.

• Commitment to continuous improvement and staying current with industry trends and best practices.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience as a Chief Engineer or similar.

• Experience working in Robotics Automation or a similar field.

• Masters Degree.
