Job Summary
The Hardware Test Engineer will perform product testing hardware verification board bring-up troubleshooting certification testing and anomaly reporting. The position also involves hardware system design schematic and PCB-related activities signal integrity measurements EMI/EMC testing prototype build management and functional safety product development in accordance with IEC 61508.
The position requires at least three years of hardware testing experience.
Tasks
- Perform product testing based on applicable experience and product requirements.
- Map product and system requirements to hardware testing activities.
- Create hardware test cases.
- Perform hardware board board bring-up activities.
- Identify and report anomalies.
- Read and update hardware hardware soldering activities.
- Conduct certification hardware test stands.
- Diagnose and fix hardware board issues.
- Design microprocessor- and microcontroller-based systems.
- Design memory systems.
- Design circuits incorporating FPGA CPLD and PAL devices.
- Design test and certify Ethernet and USB interfaces.
- Work with digital electronics analog electronics power supplies and I/O circuits.
- Use schematic capture and PCB layout design tools.
- Perform board-level and system-level design verification testing.
- Apply EMI noise reduction techniques and PCB layout countermeasures.
- Conduct testing for EMI/EMC regulatory certifications.
- Perform signal integrity measurements using network analyzers and oscilloscopes.
- Perform product testing against environmental and certification test standards.
- Manage prototype builds from BOM creation through build change requests.
- Support functional safety product development in accordance with IEC 61508.

- Minimum of three years of experience in hardware testing.
- Experience with product testing.
